Who should apply?

Any (Undergrad/ grad) student from any UW campus

Since we are working with Taiwanese students (they speak Mandarin), it is preferred if you speak any Mandarin, but NOT required. If you don’t speak any Mandarin, we can pair you up with other members who speak Mandarin or have you work with older students who can communicate in English better.

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds.
What to Expect

1-hour-long weekly general meetings
-
A 40-minute online English tutoring at around 8～9 pm each week

Hangouts with other members!

Design a teaching plan with other TEEA members biweekly
-
(not mandatory but strongly encouraged) travel to Taiwan with other TEEA members and Taiwanese volunteers to join the summer camp
-
Design activities and games for the summer camp
